Felt seal goes against the vertical link, then the seal retainer, then inner
taper race (bearing) then the disc, then the hub, then the outer taper race
(bearing), then the washer, then the castle nut, then the splitpin (cotter
pin). Also, if you have one, check Bentleys book pages 380-381.
My seals were not bonded to the thin seal retainer...but it doesn't really
matter...see below.
It has been suggested to soak the felt seal in motor oil overnight to
impregnate it completely. Some say warm the oil or grease before soaking.
