Hello Patrick. If your are talking about a TR 6. Any MG solenoid is the
same. And the starter motor is the same too. The nose cone is the only
difference and are interchangeable. In a MG the solenoid is mounted on the
bottom. TRs, is on the top when the starter is mounted to the engine. This
