| I have one original and one aftermarket ring that I picked up at a swap. They
are the wide style. At first glance they look alike, but after mounting
several differences were apparent.
1. The aftermarket has a straight section in the radius traveling from the
body side to the front of the rim and it is also a little longer than the
original.
2. More noticable, the aftermrket has about a 3/16" space between the chrome
headlight retainer and the rim. It is very noticeable compared to the
original rim.
My question to the list is if I buy another aftermarket rim will it match the
aftermarket I have, or should I bite the bullet and buy two new rims.
Has anyone purchases a aftermarket rim that fits better than the one I have?
If so, what supplier was it puchased from?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
