Well after honing out my cylinders ...after
ridge reaming the tops with my new toys
(bore gauge ridge reamer glaze buster)

I can now see a small scratch/groove
running up the cylinder walls in #4 and #2
cylinders
(#3 had the leak problems and low compression)
I'm pretty sure now it was a combo of a burned valve
and a stuck ring from the over heating

The bore gauge says the scratches/grooves are
at most .001. (actually closer to 0.0008)

QUESTION....
Should I care ?
Or just keep honing a bit more.
The cyls are straight and clean at (std = 2.9")
.001 over... max !
