Hello All and Happy New Year,

I had subscribed to Classic Auto Restorer several years ago when they were
still a magazine format and they attempted to restore a 76 TR6.

These folks were so knowledgeable that they thought the door pulls in the
side of the door panels on the 75-76 TR6 were ash trays! Honest, I'm not
making that up! Their restoration was full of inaccuracies for the LBC fan.
Like, they couldn't understand why the "all metric" bolts had been replaced
with SEA... Not a lot of good stuff there.

They did run a 4 page full color feature on George Proctor's 71 TR6 at about
the same time. Shortly after that they went from marginal magazine to
newsletter format with no advertisements. This meant that you couldn't even
use the thing to help find parts or services. You might have guessed that I
no longer subscribe to it.
