I had a number of E-Mails asking what the solutions were for the popping out
of 2nd gear. Three of the responses said basically the same thing; it is a
broken front circlip or broken top hat bushing on 2nd gear. There was also
recommendations to check the layshaft/bearings and for a worn shifter collar
and/or dog teeth on the gear. None of them mentioned the synchros as being
a problem. Thanks again everyone!
