One popular approach seems to be putting the car up for auction on eBay with
an absurdly high reserve price. Who knows, someone may actually buy it.

But if they don't, you'll still have a list of the folks who bid on the car
and how much THEY thought it was worth. You can then start dickering with
them directly.

Actually, a low-mileage car in the condition you describe is a pretty rare
commodity. If the complete ownership and maintenance history of the car can
be shown--and its originality has been preserved--it would be worth an ad in
a national magazine like Hemmings. The bad news (or good news, depending on
your point of view) is that the buyer will want to tart it up, put it on a
trailer and haul it around to car shows. Ten years from now, it'll still
have 11,000 miles on it.
