As an American, that is of little concern. In fact, I still have the
parking ticket I got in Montreal in my photo album. (It was one of those
you-buy-a-paper-ticket-and-put-it-on-the-dash parking lots but the machine
refused to take my money (yes it was Canadian). I put a note in the dash
to that effect in two languages to no avail)
I claim diplomatic immunity!
