At the suggestion of folks here, I got some VX-6 for a battery from
JCWhitxxx. It worked! The best part is that they just sent me a
catalog. It still has the collection of hood ornaments with the eyes
that light up! Some things never change. It's very comforting.

I miss the JC Witless cats from when I was a kid(early 70's) and they had
about a hundred different types of lights and mirror shapes... I spent days
going through that catalog... Planning what I wanted, despite the fact I was
a decade away from a car!(Course, Dad ordered a lot of his 63 Herald pars
from that source!)
