Was this dealer masquerading as a Triumph specialist? Lets hope not.

At Gaydon's Triumph day I met the owner of a 'TR4' that appeared to 
have been rebuilt to a very high standard, however it had a small 
brass badge saying 'TR4/6, denoting the TR6 engine under the bonnet. 
He had paid 14,000 pounds for it, whilst it was a great looking car, 
I couldn't help thinking that was TR5 money. (He did have the benefit 
of knowing the person who rebuilt the car).

Perhaps its the lack of a grandmother that drives people to convert TR250s!
