I'll make the tally 2 for 'inward' and 2 for 'wingward'.  The Piggott book I 
have
shows an example toward the wing... but I wouldn't consider that definitive.

I did mine that way just cause it was like that when I got it.

I think we need to hear from someone who 'knows'.
