Lesson #NNN:
Don't measure your crankshaft end float with the crank just sitting on the
block journals. Using that method I had 0.007", just out of spec. After
ordering an oversize set of thrustwashers, today I put the bearing caps on.
Now my end float is 0.0045", "spot on" spec.
Now if I can cancel the overnight delivery from Moss....
