What on earth is a Triumph Pony?
>From what I can tell it was a car supplied to Israel in CKD form (Completely
Knocked Down), in the early 1970s. I found it listed as a model in a Lucas
catalogue for 1971 Triumph cars. From the equipment listing in the Lucas
book, it would seem this car was a real econo-box as it just has your very
basic and essential electrical components... even the heater is listed as an
option.
The prize goes to the person who can produce a picture as well as more
information :-)
