     The sill  is the inner reinforcement for the floor and outer rocker 
panel and  runs from the firewall back to the rear wheel well.  To remove you 
must drill out the spotwelds  along the top, bottom (floor seam) and rocker 
panel from A Post to B post.  If your floors and rocker panels are not 
rusted, that will be a small miracle.  Replacing the latter items is a major 
feat 
that requires a lot of preparation.  If you find that  rust is prevalent in 
these areas, there is a lot of experience on the list to give you guidance.
