Mike,
I think it would be a good idea, I presently have the original AM/FM
set up (missing the Faceplate trim, damn ) and a modern set-up in the glove
box.
The whole idea of reaching over to the glove box to turn down the volume at a
stop light
because someone is saying nice MG @#$% what year is it? is annoying on both
counts.
But now we can get remote operated set ups with enough power to blow your head
off,
for fair money...meanwhile giving one the ability to keep their original unit
in place
so it may make your project less attractive depending on cost.
