I am curious about the suggestions/advice for steering wheel for my TR4/TR4A. I
found the original black-metal spoked (o.e.) TR wheel too large, and replaced it
for the moment with a slightly smaller (borrowed) wheel. It is an old
wood/metal Mota-Lita, but I find the wood rim a little narrow for my hands. I
am
now contemplating a wheel somewhere around 14-15" diam. But which one?
Mountney (UK) has both wood and leather rim / metal spoke wheels, 13"-15".
Their
Polished & Riveted Wood Wheel (15") is #89.00 inc vat. Boss is #23 extra.
Rimmer Bros. lists wood and leather wheels at around #132.19 inc. VAT.
Paul Depper (UK) shows a 14" MotaLita Steering Wheel leather at #105.00, boss
extra.
What are the thoughts / advice on which wheel, price, etc?
