I am reading Burt Levy's book right now, and am enjoying more than any
book in recent memory. Which brings me to my question: I would like to
get a signed copy of the book for my father, but am not sure of the best
source? I picked mine up at Road Atlanta several weeks ago, but can't
recall the vendor's name.
 Thanks

  Mr Little and List Members,
I had the pleasure of reading this book a few months back. It was
suggested reading by one of our club members who regularly races on the
vintage circuit. I followed it up with Montezuma's Ferrari and am
currently reading The Fabulous Trashwagon. All three are such a blast to
read that I can't seem to turn the pages fast enough. I suggest these
books to anyone who has ever raced a car, worked on a car, owns a car,
drives a car, or knows someone who does. I don't understand why the
first one (The Last Open Road) hasn't been made into a movie yet! In
case anyone out there decides to check these out, they should be read in
the order in which they were written: The Last Open Road, Montezuma's
Ferrari, and The Fabulous Trashwagon.
Now, to answer your question about the autographed copy.... I
believe if you check out their website at:
http://www.lastopenroad.com/index.htm you can order one that has
been signed by the author.
I've passed my copies around to a few guys in our club, and everyone
wholeheartedly gives them 2 thumbs up!!!! They are some of the most
enjoyable and entertaining books I've read in quite some time, and I
highly recommend them. That Burt Levy is a funny bastard!
  Cheers,
Kevin Thompson
