John,

If memory serves me, I think that the GT6 and Spitfire Mk 1 thru 4 used
Delco distributors. While the GT6 dizzy is a rare bird, you might have
better luck sourcing an old Spitfire dizzy and using its plate.

Hope this helps,

Subject: GT6+ Distributor plate?

Hi all,

Thanks for the input on my dead Crane electronic
ignition. I think I'll go back to points to make sure
the car runs before jumping into a new conrol
module...

I did like the tip about having the electronic
ignition but also having a spare plate to drop right
in with points, etc. already installed.

The question: Does anyone have or know where I can get
an old distributor or at least the plate so I can
assemble such a back-up unit?

Thanks so much,
Cheers,
John Donohoe
