Doubt that you could measure the effect between painted and not painted
drums on heat dissipation with a calibrated foot on the brake pedal. Unless
you're one of those Engineers they have at the Milford Proving grounds who
claim to be able to tell the difference between suspension bushings with a
durometer change of a few points!
