Oops - sorry Jerry, disregard earlier message - that was my plastigauge 
readings (should have read the actual manual instead of my rebuild notes). 
Clearances for new bearings from the manual are:

main bearings  .0012" to .0020"
big end rod bearings  .0010" to .0027"
