Bryce, If it's anything like a TR4A and I suspect that it is, there is no
nut inside a tube but there is a Nyloc nut and washer that tightens up snug
to the bottom of the tube. It threads onto the Windshield Post. I wonder if
someone has previously taken this apart and cut the mounting post thus
eliminating the Nyloc nut and maybe a portion of the post for some crazy
reason?
If you loosen the 3 clamp nuts and then pry the clamp apart ever so slightly
the windshield should retract from the body. Of course you must also remove
the 3 clamp bolts across the inside of the window too.
I'd be curious what you find out.
