Dave,
I looked at detailed measurements of your TR4A hood and its opening on your
website and they're not the same as mine (my dissassembled car may not be the
best example though) Anyone out there with a better TR4/4A to measure??
My measurements are 'going' to be (with a little hammering):
Front of hood Opening: 45.0"
Front of Hood Width: 44.5"
Rear of hood Opening: 47.25"
Rear of Hood Width: 46.75"
The result will be 1/4" gap along both sides.
The stainless steel bead trim will further reduce gaps to 1/8".
You might get different measurements from a TR4/4A that hasn't been so abused!
Please let me know if you recieve different numbers.
Regards,
Carl

Hi List,
I have discovered a problem when test fitting my freshly primed TR4A
hood. The gap between the fenders and the hood is way off on one side. I
posted a new page on my website http://home.fuse.net/davestr4a
to show my dilemma.
