No!  The threads are very rarely involved in sealing the joint, wheel
cylinders and whatnot are always sealed at the joint between the end of the
tube and a seat.  The only exception I can think of is the brake light
switch on the earlier TRs, which does seal on tapered threads.  Even there,
no sealer is normally required but a light smear of paste sealer is OK as
long as it doesn't get inside to contaminate the brake fluid.

On things like wheel and master cylinders, a small smear of anti-seize on
the threads is appropriate, but again you must exercise care to avoid
getting it into the brake fluid.

Teflon tape is for household plumbing, it has NO automotive applications.
