Question for those of you out there that are intimately familiar with the 
inner workings of the TR6 differential...  Concerning the front bearing 
(on the input shaft), how does that bearing get a fresh supply of 
recirculated oil inside the diff as the diff is turning? 

Also, if I am going to replace the front diff seal, does the castle nut in 
front of it need to be torqued to a specific torque?  The instructions in 
the manual are very vague about this.  My plan, unless someone from the 
list knows otherwise, is simply to mark which thread the castle nut is set 
to on the input shaft and put it back to exactly the same spot.  It has a 
safety wire through the castle nut.

If I replace the side oil seals, what torque should those nuts be 
tightened to?  They do not have safety wires or castle nuts.

And finally, the replacement front diff seal that Victoria British sold me 
has a rubber seal instead of the original leather.  Any thoughts on 
whether this will be a good or a bad thing?
