Thanks to all who took a look at their TR4's and gave me some ammo to
question the existence and commission # cut off points for the brass rocker
nut, long neck radiator and spatula cooling fan. From the info gathered I think
it is fair to say that some minor corrections are in order for the TRA Judging
Manual. I will relay the results to John Gabel the TRA Chief Judge. Hey I
even found out that there may be a "short" long neck TR4 radiator. It is
mentioned in the manual as a footnote but unconfirmed. Anyone have one of
I have a particular interest in the very early Tr.'s since I own a couple and
as I said before I believe one of the best ways to research originality is to
talk with the owners of original cars. The earliest Fours were rich with
changes and present an interesting challenge. This list has been an excellent
source of information.
I may try to go thru the TR4 interior category too so stand by. I am also
learning a lot from your posts on TR4A's which I am personally a little weak on
since I have never owned one.
