Paul,

What is this the David Letterman top 10 reasons I dont drive my TR3 as 
much as I used too?

Well for me the top reason is about 3.5 years ago I decided to go into 
business for myself. Eats up alot of free time I used to have on weekends.

The 2nd reason is I still  have time for other things  like motorcycles, 
mineral collecting, running and the always favorite " working around the 
house". Mineral collecting actually has taken a back seat to the TR3 in 
the last 5 or 6 years. Right now work and running are consumming most of 
my time. Running has taken on a life of its own.

One smaller reason is the type of ins. I have on the car. It is the 
classic type where they dont want you driving it to work etc. I am able 
to ride both my bikes to work eventhough 1 is over 30 years old. So I 
ride the bikes every day I can but mostly to and from work. The cost is 
dirt cheap however for the car.

A real funny reason is it usually takes me about 1/2 an hour to get the 
car out of the garage. Must 1st move the bikes, then at least 2 cars 
(mine, wifes or one of the kids.

I guess I could use a larger garage and driveway! But then I would most 
likely put another Triumph in the extra space.

I do all my mechanical work. Parts are not a problem at this point. I 
have accumulated lots of spares over the years. I keep an eye on TRF 
sales and get stuff I know I will be needing one of these days. 
Reliability has never been a problem. The car is my pride and joy but I 
am not afraid to take it out. Last I checked I was getting > 30 MPG 
highway and about 25-26 around town! Doesnt use oil so cost is not a reason!

Looking forward to retirement when I will have the time to drive the 
TR3, and bikes even more.
