It sounds like another great Triumphest this year.  I, on the otherhand,
attended the San Diego British Car show.  I believe there were over 350
British cars in attendance.  Great show.

Back to the headlight rim question.  I have an early small mouth TR3.  It
should have the headlight rims with the screw in the bottom.  However, my
headlamp buckets don't have a corresponding, receiving screw hole in them.
Are these the wrong buckets?  Can I drill a hole in the buckets to accept a
screw?  Or does the screw just sort of catch an edge of the bucket?  (that's
how I have it now, but I don't want to suffer Tom's fate and have one fall off
due to my ignorance.)

  On my way Triumphest I turned left off of my block and immediately made
  a ritual sacrafice to a good trip.  My left headlight rims fell off and
  I ran over the top of it.  The sacrafice was successful.  The rest of
  the trip went almost without incident.
