I have a TR4 transmission with overdrive in my 60 TR3A.
Being in Phoenix I ran 50wt oil during the summer. Now that it has
gotten chilly for the first 5 minutes of driving it is very difficult
to get the car into 2nd gear either up or down shifting. After that
there is no significant problem. Do I need to go to a 30 weight oil?
Or can I use something like 15w50 year around?
