I am just about done refinishing my steering wheel for the TR3. I used the
sanding technique and it really brought the wheel back to looking almost
like new. I do have one crack on the back side of the wheel, about 3"
inches long and not full through the grip. Has anyone used the Eastwood
Repair kit. What I need is some epoxy that will cure to a hard material and
is black. When reading the description of the epoxy, I get the impression
that it needs to be primed and painted. Is this correct? Does anyone have
any other BTDT or suggestions for other products. I only need the epoxy (a
small amount) and would prefer it to be black so I can fill in the crack and
then sand down to the shape of the wheel section it is on. TIA.
