County parts are generally bought in and packaged under that brand name.
Some parts seem to be made especially for the company, others are quite
obviously re-branded. The Girling marking comes from the manufacture of many
hydraulic components by TVS-Girling in India - it's not a case of parts
being produced under license, but actually being made by that manufacturer.
I have equally stocked Lucas boxed items which have been over-stickered with
County labels. Who actually makes them for Lucas of course is another
matter......
In general I am happy with what County produces. I have been told by some
other specialists that the County pistons are an improvement over what is
currently produced by AE, but I have no personal experience in this area.
Cheers,
Bill.
