I tried to reply to you direct but I think the message bounced
.I replaced my window felts a few years ago. At first I stuck some moleskin
to replace the felt inside the channels. This only worked for a short time.
The answer was to buy some replacement channel from one of the big suppliers
to replace the existing worn out channel felt.

Brian Kemp. Following these instructions made a first class job.
ISTR there was a little difficulty finding the 3/32" rivets, but it was
resolved by a specialist fastener dealer. The end result i.e. non rattling
windows was most satisfying
