You're an asset to The Club.
Your drawing of the radio bracket in pdf form is excellent. A few years back
I did detailed drawings from BOTH types of actual TR4 radio brackets (early
and late) and periodically been mailing copies off to folks in need (PTA).
But my measurements from these two authentic TR4 factory radio brackets
differ slightly from your specs. For instance you state your bracket height as
2
1/4" but my actual bracket measures 2 3/8". And your bracket style is for the
early TR4, I also made specs for the (more desireable) later TR4 style as well.
If I sent you detailed drawings based on these two real brackets could you
(as time permits) update your pdf file? It would be a great resource for others
who are missing this important TR4 dash bracket.

Here a link to a plan I drew up to have one fabricated for my TR4 (based on
the measurements I took off of my car an pictures I'd seen of the piece on
other cars).

It's probably not exactly correct, but it worked fine for me. I just took
this plan to a local machine shop and had them make it. I think it cost me
about $30.00. BTW, I ended up having mine made without the taper (a uniform
width of 8"). Otherwise, the lower corners of the radio I had would have
stuck out. I'd be happy to send you a picture of mine installed in the car
if you're interested.
