In 1998 list member Carl Musson very generously traced outlines of all the
carpet pieces for his >60K 3a and sent them to me, so I could cut my own
carpet set. At the time I was very naive and thought the car would be done
in a year or two, and that I could do it on a shoestring budget.
So, 7 years later, I finally decided I could afford to buy a set via TRF
during this present good sale they have happening.
I don't want to see these patterns go to waste; Carl put a lot of effort
into this. So I want to send them on - to someone who really will use them.
I am rather embarrassed about this so please whoever responds, try to
convince me that you are going to make your own carpets up, as I thought I
would do...
