Maybe this thread will add credence to the robustness of the TR hobby.
I recently took over my Dad's third and final TR, a 66 TR4A at age
35.

As to the future of the TR LBC hobby, I think this anecdote
encapsulates it perfectly.

A year back when my 5 year old nephew saw the car with my dad, his
grandfather, he promptly said, "Grandpa, when you die I'll drive this
car." Unfortunately, he'll have to wait for me to get quite up in
years, hopefully 40 more, before his wish comes true.

Vintage British sports cars are like fine wines. They need to be
tasted in youth, enjoyed and learned about, and then and only then,
does one desire to own one someday.

Pass on the experience to your kids, nieces, newphews, and grandkids,
and the cars will never die.

Ted
