My TR2 uses the Optima gel battery and I can't fault them in any way. The
Cold Cranking Amps is quite impressive to say nothing of the great idea of
never worrying about a bit of spilled acid eating the paint or corroding the
battery box or tray.
My only problem with the Optimas is the very non-period look but I noticed
in Moss's latest catalogue that there is a tar top looking case that you can
use to cover the ugly Optima. Has any one ordered one of those cases yet?
