Sure you can measure oil pressure but as I recall one atmosphere (15 PSI) is
760 mm Hg. An oil pressure reading of 60 PSI would be equivalent to over
3,000 mm (or 3 meters) of Hg and since this gauge maxes out at 600 it falls far
short. I suppose you could use it on fuel pressure or even cooling system
pressure on the earlier models.
I suggest you buy it and hang it on the wall.
