I had to take the transmission tunnel out to fix a little leak on my HVDA 5
speed and decided to replace the carpet while it is apart. My car had what
looks like a stock carpet kit and then maybe some additional work. Can
someone tell me if the kick panels have a backer board or if the carpet is
just glued to the inner panel? Also how is the carpet attached to the
sills? Mine has vinyl sewn to the top of the sill carpet and is held in
place with a trim molding that doesn't look stock. I am considering the
Moss kit, any thoughts about quality? I am also familiar with Heritage and
Prestige, any thoughts on quality difference. As I recall from my Healey
days the Heritage product is a bit pricey but real nice.
