Basically it's a judged show somewhat similar to a concours, but without the
strict attention to originality. Cars are judged on appearance, not whether the
paint is the original shade. There's even a "JC Whitney" award for the car with
the most aftermarket gadgets on it. And the "People's Choice" award (which is
voted for by the audience) usually goes to a less-than-perfect car that is
unusually appealing (so daily drivers have a good shot at this one).
