Thanks for all the help on the horn problem. Until I can get all the proper
bits I need, I've attached a flexible cable from the steering column to the
engine block as a temporary measure.

Greetings,

I have a problem with the horn in my GT6 in that it works intermittently. The
steering wheel is an aftermarket replacement with a hub made of aluminum (I
think). The horn switch works fine and the contacts for it all work and are
problem free. The problem seems to be grounding of the steering shaft. If I
rotate the steering wheel while pressing the horn, it goes on and off as it
turns. Is there a place where the steering shaft gets grounded that could be
causing the problem? Since the wheel is not original, the manuals have not been
of much use. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
