Went for a "spirited" drive to Staples for some printer paper at noon,
running perfectly, no quirks.

Got back in and I typically depress the pedal about 1/3 down when warm and
it always fires instantly. This time took about 8-10 seconds and seems a bit
"heavy" on the throttle, needed to "blip" it a little too, thought a bit
unusual at the time. Its about 88 degrees outside, running spot on at 185.

Drove about 2 miles and then it starting dying like the gas was being
restricited and stalled. Couldn't get it running smooth, played for awhile,
started once for about 45 seconds and ran very rough, idled down and then
died. Fuel pump is fine, filter is clear, floats are free. Ignition
components are relatively new.

Had it towed (about 5 miles) for the 2nd time in 22 years.....pushed it into
the garage, let it sit for half an hour, went into the garage and it started
instantly, and sounds perfect. Any "heat-related" items that might cause
this behavior?

Appreciate the help
