Having run many Webers and Dellortos on various Alfa's and Lotus', I would say
the best method of tuning a Triumph with Webers for economy would be to start
at the intake manifold. Remove and replace with SU type for HS6's. On the
Alfas the Dellortos seemed to get a little better mpg. Of course the Webers
are always everybody's sentimental favorite at the cost of fuel mileage.
