Built a 3/2 rental cottage there in the late 60s (Salvo).  At that time
of year, it is very damp, cold, windy, and often rainy.   Be sure your
rental has a fireplace and heat.  Even with the growth there in the last
20 years, Jan, Feb, and March are very lonesome, with many businesses
closed...it's sometimes difficult to find a restaurant open, especially
in the lower Banks.   Bleak describes it well.
