I just took my facia off to repaint it, it was the temp gauge and it's fragile 
capilary tube that had me scared not the
wiring ;)

There's a gentleman on ebay selling a complete facia, the photos on his listing 
provide an excelent example of what the
"after" should look like.  I saved the photos, item no: 4585755357
