Good morning!

Don't be too rough on the gold paint!!!

Sometime during my mispent youth, I happened to paint my TR2 gold laquer
with metal flakes - at the time - I was really happy. Now, I wonder what
I was thinking! I did somehow resist the urge to put a hood scoop on it -
though it was on the list of things to do I had left in the side
pocket..... Yikes!!! - We did the interior with brown nagahyde pieces we
scrounged from the nearby hushpuppy shoe factory. Wasn't enough of one color
to cover all the pieces so we went with a two tone approach. That stuff
must be nuclear grade - it still looks and feels pretty good - I only wish
my workmanship was up to grade with the mateiral.....

The paint is pretty much gone - but the car is not! I got it fired up last
weekend and it actually ran pretty well. It's a good thing the hydraulics
are shot or I'd have been running around the neighborhood with my bleach
bottle gas tank on the hood. (probably want to say here that using a bleach
bottle as a gasoline storage device is not recommended.....)
