Having got my '59 TR3A windshield frame all back together, complete with upper
and lower seals, I went to add the baby Tenax fasteners before installing the
unit back onto the car.
I know this has come up before. The chromer has apparently shrunk the holes a
bit, so I can't get the fasteners started. Sticky wicket, what? I hate to
buy a tap because it would be easy to cross thread the good threads inside.
Would it be better to take a slightly larger drill to ream out the chrome, so
hopefully the fasteners will start?
