I posted som of this yesterday but the TR list seems to have lost it.

Bob beat me to the keyboard. (Nice pics!) Bob, I looked for your
name on a yellow TR6 but didn't see it. I didn't meet anyone from
the list, bummer. Did see lots of LBCs though, plus some big enough
to be called BBCs, or even VBBCs. Nice Aston Martin collection. The
electric GT6 shown on Bob's website was built by a gent in a
wheelchair, Bill Shea. He and his brother Ted entered it in the
Concourse, for which he got nice recognition and a special prize. It
was indeed a technical achievement worth noting.

Saw lots of nice 6's and 3's, quite a few 4's, 4A's, 250's and a TR5
too. A nice collection of Spitfires, and four or five GT6's.
Triumph was well represented. Also a zillion of the usual suspects,
MG's, A-H's, Jags, Sprites, Minis, other exotic stuff like Singers,
two 3-wheel Morgans, two or three Daimler SP250s. (We joked that it
was a meeting of British sports cars and MG's. Didn't tell anyone
though, they outnumber us.) Had some very nice conversations, met
some wonderful folks. People were friendly.

Chuck Giorgio's green TR6 won his class and was awarded Best In Show
because he got more votes in his class than any other car.

The drive home was great. Followed a BRG 4A/IRS in VT till he turned
off. Got passed by a metallic green TR8, a white Stag, and
butterscotch TR6. Saw a few cars stopped with bonnets up but all
with plenty of help. Fell in with a trio of Spitfires heading back
to MA. Even got a honk and wave from a BMW Z3.

At the campground where we stayed were a lovely bugeye Sprite, a TR6,
and an A-H 3000. Beautiful cars, but (ahem) ours actually drove in
and drove out, loaded with camping gear.

It was smashingly fun weekend. The car behaved itself, and had no
trouble zipping along the highway. Now as soon as my ears recover
all will be fine. Eh, wot? Did you say something?
