There were 2 filter heads used on the TRactor engines, the 2 that you mention 
above. The threads in the filter head for the long bolt that holds the whole 
thing together are different between the 2 brands, and are not interchangeable. 
You need to know which filter head you have so that you choose the right spin 
in adaptor. If you have a Purolator filter head on your car, and you get the 
Tecalemit adaptor, the adaptor will not screw into the filter head. When I 
bought mine 8 or so years ago from British Frame & Engine (NFI), mine came with 
both adaptors. The filter elements themselves are the same.
