| Subject: | [TR] What is something heavy weight that can be used in carbs? |

If the carbs on my '74 TR6 are consuming oil, I imagine I'll need to rebuild them but is there anything heavier than regular motor oil that I can use. Winters here don't get below freezing. Would it be alright to use 50 wt. oil or just straight 30 wt. or just what? I am just trying to get a little more season out of the car before I pull off the carbs. Thanks, Jim [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type application/ms-tnef which had a name of winmail.dat] === This list supported in part by The Vintage Triumph Register === http://www.vtr.org |
