 As I understand everything, you are correct. I am not familiar with the 
specifics regarding Kas Kasner so I wont comment on that aspect. To me, the 
true benefit of the system is the increased throttle response and drivability 
of the car. With the TBI it is very responsive. The side benefit is not having 
any of the carb idiosyncrasies. The car just starts every time and idles and 
runs incredibly smoothly. While power is nice and someday I may change out my 
cam and increase the compression I enjoy the system the way it operates right 
now.

And the gain in peak HP is mostly from the aggressive cam and higher
compression.

If I'm not mistaken, Kas Kastner said he actually went faster with ZS carbs,
than with the Lucas PI.
