I wanted to get this posted in case folks are contemplating registering for
the convention and have not yet done so...
Great news for VTR Convention attendees! Hagerty Insurance (www.hagerty.com)
will give complimentary two-week memberships in their "Hagerty Plus" program
to persons who register for the convention before June 30th to encourage
driving instead of trailering or wimping out and taking the family car
instead of their Triumph! The coverage extends to the vintage vehicle
registered for the gathering. Membership cards will be mailed to registrants
the first week in July. Offer is for persons who register for the convention
before June 30th only.
Conditions follow:
* Dates of coverage are July 13 thru July 25 inclusive, and coverage extends
only to the vehicle registered for the convention.
* Hagerty will mail temporary membership letters to advance registrants.
* To take advantage of the offer, you have to call the number on the letter.
This is not a universal reimbursement program where Hagerty will pay a
towing service after the fact.
* The response is a guaranteed flatbed.
* The offer is for one incident, either $100 in roadside assistance
(lockout, flat, run out of gas, anything else non-tow Hagerty can help with)
or 50 miles of towing. Fees beyond that, fluids or parts will be the
responsibility of the vehicle owner.

a few select clubs like VTR, this service is normally only available to
Hagerty Insurance clients.
